  1. I have to admit, I m not a big fantasy or paranormal reader, this author changed my mind I was really entertained I don t do spoilers, but the author spins a believable action story and combines it with a heart touching romance Kimball and Dmitri have tons of hurdles to jump all the while gearing up for war Her heroine is spunky and brave The dialogue between characters come off as real The fight scenes were particularly well done.

  2. What if demons weren t demons, what if myth were undergirded with reality, and what if dragons were real Author Jeanne Guzman creates an intriguing mythology of underground nations hiding in plain sight, with hints of vampire, danger and addiction to spice up their lives But human and dragon worlds collide when evil deeds meet evil imagination, and orphan sisters Kimball and Angelica might find nothing is quite as they d believed.Part fascinating fantasy adventure and part sensual romance, the m [...]

  3. I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. The main characters were well written as well as the story line and the action and drama was great The romance was at the fore front even with all the action, it was the pieces blend of everything going on The way she wrote the dragon world into the real world was amazing and it really fit in with perfection The conflict between the characters and the hidden agendas were intriguing and keeps you turning the pages Kimball was a sas [...]

  4. This was a pretty good book I liked the interactions between the main characters and that the romance did not take a back seat with all of the action in the book It was interesting to see how Ms Guzman built the dragon world into our reality I enjoyed the nature of the conflict and the hidden agendas of some characters.I found at some points it felt like there was too much of an info dump I had trouble getting into the first part of the book There was than a little disbelief on my part about th [...]

  5. This is one of the few paranormal romance books I ve read, and I must say during quite a few scenes I felt as hot as if a fire breathing dragon was in close proximity A very scintillating read, Jeanne Guzman takes us into a world below the streets of Austin, Texas in her imaginative vision of love and war between dragon tribes and the humans who love them.
