  1. 2.5 StarsI came across this book on NetGalley and thought it sounded funny Honestly, I think I have a pretty good sense of humour and I am not easily offended However, I seem to be in the minority on this one I just didn t find it that funny The book is based on a blog by the author that went viral This was the article on Huffingtonpost huffingtonpost sarah fI thought the article was pretty funny, but the book just wasn t the same in my opinion I m not saying no one will find this funny, many wi [...]

  2. Spanish review at the bottomIs this supposed to be funny If so, frankly I don t understand it.When I started reading this book I thought it would be everyday situations like painting the walls, get dirty just when they put clean close or have tantrums because they do not want to eat vegetables that mom feels that are so chaotic, because when it is constant, it becomes a little agony, but here, Really The parents reward their children with pancakes when almost burned the house How bad is the worl [...]

  3. awkward cough Wellwhat to say about this It s basically just a trite diatribe about a destructive three year old It was amusing for about half a second but got old fast, which is quite a feat for a story that took me all of two minutes to read Might have worked better as a speculative blog post, but as a published work this is a joke and not a funny one at that 0.5 5Buy, Borrow or Bin Verdict BinCheck out of my reviews hereNote I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

  4. I was really looking forward to this book after reading the blog post that inspired it I barely got a few pages in before I realized that this wasn t what I expected at all First, it s not 50 pages The text was very large and blank pages were numbered I found it to be quite lazily put together I think the actual article might be longer than the book Second, it felt like she just followed the blog post but told it like a fairytale I m a pretty easy person to please when it comes to parenthood hum [...]

  5. This book was AWESOME If you are a parent, you will relate to it Heck even if you re not a parent, you ll laugh your ass off I read it whenever I m feeling stressed about mom life and BOOM Instant laughter Fader gets it.

  6. The title alone had me laughing Of course, parents with perfect kids would be horrified at their children being called such a name but is there such a thing as a perfect kid No matter how prepared one is for parenthood, disaster looms Sarah Fader approaches such disaster with a humourous heart and a funny bone Sarah Fader got my attention with the title of her book but the author s article on Huffington Post also got a lot of attention It s refreshing to see a parent take raising a child with wi [...]

  7. I received this book from Netgalley to review, but all thoughts and options are mine As a mother and an aunt of several children, I was deeply disturbed by this book I love books about humor, and that is what I was expecting, instead I read a book about a parent who has NO control over her child In the process the child plays with pills, burns the family home down I m sorry, this is a child who needs serious discipline, if it happened once in a while, that would be one thing but this story state [...]

  8. Three Year Olds are A holes by Sarah Fader is a look at the antics of a girl named Sammy in one day I had four boys and I guess I was lucky because I only had a few of these days but they were enough I think every mother can relate to having a bad day, I hope this mother doesn t live with Sammy like this every day If it was suppose to be funny, it really wasn t I was hoping it would be funny odd things that three year olds do that might bother us but it was just destructive behavior I received t [...]

  9. A perfect example of judging a book by it s cover The title and cover illustration are fun and I anticipated many funny three year old scenarios however it was a bit bland in my opinion My own three year old has done so much that is hilarious, i feel i could have written a better book.

  10. I saw this book on NetGalley and thought it sounded funny from the description, but sadly after reading it, it really isn t one for me I didn t really enjoy it or find it very funny.

  11. That escalated quickly Full disclosure I received a free electronic ARC for review through NetGalley Sammy would blow up entire planets just to get the pink jellybean instead of the white one God love her, but she may as well have been Darth Vader. This is the story of three year old Samantha Sammy for short who just wants to make a beautiful, sparkly rainbow At three in the morning On the bathroom floor, using mom s birth control pills and body lotion as her medium Sammy kicks off her morning of [...]

  12. This is a very short story about three year old Sammy Take this book with a grain of salt This little girl gets herself into so much trouble She destroys mommy s phone, gets into mommy s pills and makeup and eventually burns the house down Now I certainly do not condone that type of behaviour and I surely hope that parents would be watching their children a little better than this mom, but it was cute and I did smile when reading it.The message I took from this book is that kids, especially thre [...]

  13. I finished this book and it was entertaining However, I m not entirely sold on the title I fully understand that this book is not meant for children and it is meant for parents to relate or be entertained But hole seems to be a strong word to use on any child The author s voice is clear all through the book, even in the moments when you are crying from laughing so hard How To books on parenting are common, Sarah Fader on the other hand takes a different approach She shows appreciation for her mo [...]

  14. Fave book about kids since Go The Fuck To Sleep I read this book the day after my own little monster turned three She s not quite as much of an asshole as Sammy is in the book but she s got the rest of the year so give her time I read it with my 9 year old son and he agreed that 3 year olds, including his sister, are huge assholes We both laughed out loud several times I would recommend this book to anyone who will one day have their own little three year old asshole, or anyone who wants to look [...]

  15. This is a very short story I didn t know what to expect when I first saw the title and cover, but I knew that I had to read it I laughed throughout the entire read, but it really is too cute I, myself, do not have children but I have seen several things like this during my daycare days I enjoyed reading this and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick laugh I rate this short story with a four star rating because it is original, creative, tasteful, but a bit too short I wanted to read abo [...]

  16. As a mother of 3 children, I have experienced the wonderful time of toddlers, terrible two s and the f ked up three s I love my children than life itself, but three year olds really ARE a holes Ms Sarah Fader nailed this right on the head I was laughing so hard that I had tears rolling While I was reading about lovely Samantha, it brought back so many memories of my own experiences This book is so true and just cuts the situation to the cores, children can be a holes, but we love them anyway TH [...]

  17. Cute short story about how a three year old can get into so much trouble in so little time and all the while thinking they are doing something that is OK As a Mom I sympathize with the author as it happens and it seems most of it all happens on the same day I overall liked the story Shorter than I thought it would be but that is what made it a cute read It was nice to see the point of few from the toddler too.

  18. I received a copy from NetGalley. This was not what I expected at all It is a story about 3 year old Samantha who is completely destructive and it is written in the format of a children s book. The title is what captured me at first and I though that it could be a great laugh It is funny and I am sure some people will find it funny, however I just thought there was potential for humor in the story.

  19. I found myself reading this and saying over and over, No, she s not going toOMG, she did No, she can tOMG, she did And laughing all the time while saying it This is a quick, deliciously snarky, yet suspiciously sweet book, and it absolutely belongs on the shelf of every parent right next to Go the Fuck to Sleep.

  20. The title says it all Everyone says to look out for those terrible two s but it s the Three s that are truly meant to be feared This is a really short book Like so short you could read it entirely in one quick bathroom trip to escape kids It is written in the style of a fairy tale about the destructive capabilities of a three year old girl.

  21. This book is along the lines of Go the Fuck to Sleep Hilarious, and solidifies my desire to remain child free But even though Sarah Fader shows some of the dark sides of having a 3 year old in your house, she ties it up in a really sweet way.

  22. Patience of a monkIt s rather short but entertaining my son is nowhere near this bad but he has his moments of not listening The story is a bit relatable that little girl needs an ass whooping seriously lol.

  23. A truer title has never been written That aside, the book had its funny moments and then it lost me a little, and then it brought me around At the end, the lesson is important.

  24. It will take you 10 minutes to read, but if you have, or have ever had, a three year old then you can totally relate My threenager is driving me bonkers

  25. A quick and entertaining read, Sarah perfectly captures what it is like to parent an a hole 3 year old, and why we love them anyway.

  26. Just a cute little short story hardly a book But funny something any parent of a 3 year old could relate to.
