This book is a quick, cute read for toddlers and preschoolers If I had read this book alone, I probably would have given it 3 stars, but both kids smiled, said they liked it, and explained that they understand how the monster feels at the park, so I upped it one star I think it does a pretty good job of capturing a toddler s playground experience. The language is simple, like toddler speech, except with some rhyme Could be combined with other books for monster theme story times or playground them [...]
Super cute Nice rhyme meter easy read aloud.
Although this was a great look at what a child s day at the park could be like I just found this a little lacking meaning I personally could not connect with the characters However I found the story itself very nicely done and though not my style still could be a fun read for a little one.
Colorful illustrations capture the wonder of a little monster perfect age for toddlers visiting the park From playtime to snack time readers will enjoy seeing the monsters romp through the playground I wish the monster had a name
My children enjoyed this book The pictures are wonderful and the language is fun and simple My son likes to read this and we really like to read this book Thank you to Annie Bach and for this book.
Good for rhyming, can also do some movements.
Fun little ditty about Monster Park, a place for little monster to run, climb, slide, and hide It s all fun and games until Monster has to leave Noooooo
I enjoyed this book but the monster, monster, monster got to be a bit much
Liked this but liked the illustrations better.
A monster and his dad go to the park for the day where they play Short sentences like a toddler would say and many relatable activities Toddler and up.
Love the style of the illustrations in this book, and the rhythm and rhymes in the text Cute book
