  1. Look, V.L Locey writes some fantastic hockey She also writes some fantastic romance So you can pretty much go ahead and assume this is fantastic hockey romance I loved this story I read it, loved it so much that I went and read of Locey s books It s got Locey s snappy writing and made me laugh out loud, and oh God, I love J.D Bazin Vicki, please write the story where Kalinski and Bazin are on the same team o____o Isaac is a great narrator Locey is one of the best at first person narration and I [...]

  2. This book contains some of my favorite things Gingers, Italians, and hockey I loved the tenseness the beginning of this story exudes JD had injured Isaac a few years before and never apologized or recognized it, thus leaving a bitter taste in Isaac s mouth Years later, they end up on the same team and tensions, among other things, rises It s a great Enemies to lovers story These two light up the pages The story telling is fantastic, the way its written, you feel like you re with them on the ice, [...]

  3. copy provided to bayou book junkie by the author publisher via Creative Minds in exchange for an honest review After J.D Bazin crashes into Isaac Spencer s crease and causes the goalie to have to have surgery on his knee Well, to say they hate each other is an understatement Now both being drafted by the Balti Badgers they are told to learn to be good teammates They take it a bit further by falling into bed and becoming very good teammates This was a quick and enjoyable read I adore a good enemi [...]

  4. Crashing the Crease is a fun, sexy short story It captures your interest from the very beginning I held my breath waiting for Spenser to get chosen for a team I could feel his up and down emotions with his relationship with David.I loved the tension between JD and Spenser, sending them on a hiking expedition to learn to get along was one heck of a brilliant Idea There is a lot going on in such a short story It s fun, witty and sexy and it s for a good cause so you have nothing to lose If you lik [...]

  5. I received one copy of this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review All opinions are my own.In Crashing the Crease by V.L Locey, Isaac is having a hard time getting over his anger towards JD, which makes playing hockey on the same team a little difficult JD was responsible for an injury that almost ruined Isaac s hockey career completely JD doesn t really seem sorry t that he intentionally hurt Isaac but hockey is rough and accidents happen, right These two guys struggle through some [...]

  6. I really wanted to love this book I really did After all, there is HOCKEY in it Unfortunately hockey cannot always save the day.One of the main protagonists was just way too much of an unapologetic asshole with no manners I tried to fight off initial irritation first, but it simply overwhelmed me In comparison, another V.L Losey character Vic Kalinski actually had a couple of redeemable qualities that absolutely changed my perception in the end. Moreover, half way through the book became a horrib [...]

  7. 3.5 stars this was short and very predictable Insta love story which is not my thing I like a bit substance in a relationship.
