  1. Another cliffhanger Can t wait for the next oneThis second book in the Dream Jumper series by Greg Grunberg and Lucas Turnbloom is just as exciting and dramatic as the first.

  2. I was a bit disappointed by this second installment in the series Too much Jake, who got annoying, and not enough Ben and world building.

  3. Grunberg, Greg The Curse of the Harvester Dream Jumper Book 2 224 pgs Graphix , 2017 13 Language G 0 swears Lots of halfie swears like heck Mature Content G Violence G GRAPHIC NOVELBen learned in book one that he is a Dream Jumper he can control things that happen in dreams In this second book, Ben and his best friend Jake have started a business to help kids who are having nightmares to overcome them But something isn t quite right in the dream world Jake s powers seem a bit off and a mysteriou [...]

  4. I liked the debut title in this graphic novel series and was not disappointed in the second one Ben is a Dream Jumper who is able to help other dreamers when they are trapped in dreams or bad situations in dreams, and Jake is his trusty sidekick and computer connection The boys are doing a thriving business, but Jake brings back a note from the Dream World that spells big problems for him if he happens to fall asleep It s up to Jake to keep the business afloat as well as rescuing his friend from [...]

  5. Crapw I have to wait another 2 years for the next one I was lucky enough to get my preordered copy of Curse of the Harvester, the second book in the Dream Jumper graphic novel series, a full 2 weeks early from from when it is to be released in stores I was so pumped that I tweeted about it s arrival, and got a reply from the illustrator, Lucas Turnbloom Talk about a book fangirl moment Curse of the Harvester continues on from where the first in the series, Nightmare Escape, left off in a cliffha [...]

  6. Wow, this book gets inside your head I m still thinking about it, days after I finished it It was a little too creepy for my taste, hence the three stars But I know this will be right up many middle schoolers alleys Note I have not read the first book I actually don t even remember ordering this book from the library I think it was part of a fantastic graphic novels for middle schoolers list, so I ordered it a long time ago and forgot I did Anyway, it showed up, so I read it I could figure out w [...]

  7. Written well enough that I could read 2 without having read 1 and still be able to tell exactly what is going on I could tell that there was some context missing for bits of the plot, but it did not detract from my understanding or enjoyment of the story. The art was clear and the panels easy to follow which makes a big difference for me The scarier characters had a slightly higher level of realism than the rest of the cartoonish bunch, which made them just a TAD bit creepy, which was good.Actio [...]

  8. Sequel to graphic novel Dream Jumper It helps to have read the first one, but there is enough scaffolding to pick up the second although maybe not for struggling readers Lively, colorful illustrations make this a fun and enjoyable read.Ben and Jake are using the Dream Jumper business to make some money However, there are some strange things happening in the dream world and a new enemy to face.

  9. This was OK It s very much focused on the action, which makes sense for a second book in the series The premise is interesting and allows them to give the kids some wild villains, but it just didn t feel super special to me I haven t read the first one, so I may not be properly hooked Fun book about kids who can travel into dreams and help people sort out their nightmares.

  10. This sequel was enjoyable enough There wasn t much internal consistency though Ben is dream jumping and Jake keeps falling asleep instead of helping him but it s daytime and the two are at a party As with the first installment, the art is brilliant and the villains are truly creepy.

  11. Kind of gruesome and Ben s selfish money grubbing friend was so annoying Where was Kaylee Actually downgraded to one star because one month later I can t remember a single thing I liked Will not be continuing the series.

  12. This series got significantly worse with vol 2 For the most part, this story had nothing to bring the plot along and seemed like a classic filler within a series I ll give the next book in the series a shot, but I can t say this one did much to intrigue me.

  13. Fun, but not as interesting as the first in the series There didn t seem to be much actually happening other than foreshadowing and the discovery of a fellow Dream Jumper Middle book syndrome, maybe The illustrations are just as bright and minimal as before.

  14. I won this book on It took a long time to get The book was ok, but not my type of story Sharing with my friends children till my grandson can read.

  15. Ok book two in the graphic series Dream Jumper There could have been world building and explainations but good fun.

  16. This book was really cool when I did an AR quiz I got a 9 10 My favorit part of this book was when the sleep doctor was pozest by the nightmare lord

  17. Still live the artwork in these books. As a kid though I think they would have freaked me out a bit with the skeletons, harvester, you snooze you loose.

  18. This was another fun installment in the Dream Jumper series I really enjoy both the artwork and the story in this middle grade novel It s fun and light hearted, with a lot of adventure and a little bit of creepiness. My 11 year old son loves this series as well and he is the one who started me reading it It s a quick read but highly entertaining and it explores an interesting premise.Overall an excellent installment in this middle grade fantasy horror series This is a series that has action, crea [...]
